Workshop – Yule: Owl Lamps

The Wheel of the Year is an annual, cyclical calendar marking eight seasonal festivals observed by Pagans, Wiccans, and nature-based spiritual practitioners. It combines four solar events (solstices/equinoxes) with four seasonal, earth-based festivals, honoring the shifting seasons, agricultural cycles, and the connection between humanity and nature.

blank At Yule, the winter solstice and longest night of the year, a lamp becomes a powerful symbol of returning light and enduring hope. As darkness reaches its peak, the gentle glow of a lamp reflects the promise of the sun’s rebirth and the warmth that will slowly grow in the days ahead.

This is a 3-hour hand-building session that is a part of our Wheel of the Year series.  You will learn the basics of hand-building in celebration of the season. No prior experience needed – your instructor will guide you through the techniques, and will be around to answer questions and offer tips and tricks.

After the workshop, we will bisque fire your piece and glaze them in one color of your choice, and we will glaze fire it after that.
